Internet Access for the Network |
| With this package you get a complete solution to access the Internet
for the Network from any computer on your local network with a single modem attached to one computer and a single Internet account at an Internet Service Provider (ISP). All the computers on your local area network (LAN) are configured to use the internet protocol, and one of the computers* is installed to work as a gateway for the entire network. Any number of users can then browse the Internet at the same time from their own computers just by starting their preferred browser and entering the site address.
*It is recommended for the gateway computer to be the server or at least run WindowsNT Workstation, eventhou any Windows computer can be used for this solution.
Also please note that the subscription with the ISP is not included and must be purchased separately. However we can make all the arrangement for you with the ISP.

| We set up a dial up system so that
our support personnel will be able
to dial in to the customer network,
using dedicated software, and interactively
help the registered users with their
applications and usual work. Users
can get explanations on the phone,
while, in the same time, they can
see what the operator does on their
monitors. Thus they'll remember more
easily next time. This technology
works much more efficiently than training
courses since users get explanations
exactly on the topics they are interested,
where they need help, and on issues
they are interested to see finished,
and very probable similar to their
usual and future tasks. All the hardware
you need for this solution is a modem
or a permanent Internet connection
with enough bandwidth |

Internet Access for the Network |
You'll be able to efficiently communicate internally and use Internet
mail
to send and receive information to
and from your customers, suppliers,
friends. If you chose to register
a domain name for your company (recommended
solution), you'll get addresses like
user@yourcompany.ro for everyone to
use internally and on the internet.
You'll find new openings for your
business and a new meaning for the
word productivity. With internal mail
you can take full advantage of the
team work facilities of suites like
Microsoft® Office and use document
routing for correction/approval, and
other facilities. One computer on
the network will act as mail server
for all users. You can also chose
a more complex messaging server such
as Microsoft® Exchange Server*
to use extra facilities like common
schedule, meeting planer, mail groups,
etc. The use of Internet mail requires
an Internet connection, so this package
works best together with "Internet
Access for the Network". As in
previous case this service requires
arrangements with an ISP that we can
take care of but, you'll need an agreement
with the ISP.
